INVITATION FOR BIDS
Proposals for the Chiller and Boiler Replacement for Lusk Elementary/ Middle School Project will be received at the Niobrara County School District Number 1, Central Administration Building, 619 West 5th Street, Lusk, WY 82225 until 2:00 PM MST, on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. At the above mentioned time, proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Any bids received after 2:00 PM MST on the prescribed date will be returned to the Bidder(s) unopened.
Proposals shall be in accordance with the Bid Documents on file at the offices of:

where they may be obtained upon deposit of $125.00 per set. Deposit will be fully refundable.
A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for 2:00 PM MST, Tuesday April 15th at the Lusk Elementary / Middle School Building, 425 South Maple, Lusk, Wyoming 82225
This conference is not mandatory; however, bidders are encouraged to attend. Those not attending this conference must make their own prior arrangements with the Owner to visit the site.
Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, equipment, machinery, and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied, or grown in Wyoming; quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.
Preference is further hereby given to Wyoming resident contractors, subcontractors, laborers, workmen, and mechanics in accordance with W.S. 16-6-102; except where Wyoming residents are not available nor qualified to perform the work involved.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a standard bid bond executed in favor of the Owner, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled date of Bid Opening noted above. Successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payments Bonds if offered the Contract.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to determine who the best and most responsible Bidder is, and to waive any formalities in the bidding.
